Placed here to rest in a state of decay
Withering away
Hoping to find yourself in embers
You will remain awake
Patiently you await
This frigid cold
Will scorch your spine
One too many times
Never ceasing
To release it's dreadful sting upon you
Your pain will see no end
The reality of all of this will eventually set in
Until then you'll push forward denying your intuition
So there you stand
Reduced to nothing with little to rebuild
You've not considered a fate like this
The frigid cold will scorch your spine time after time
Rooftops as far as the eye can see
Walking into the distance
Far enough to see through the darkness
Finding solitude in emptiness
A light at the end of it all
Will they be there to greet you
With memories of your past
Or condemn you further
To nurture this task?
How long will it last?
The frigid cold will scorch your spine one last time
These buildings clouding your vision of the nothingness beyond you
You’ll lay your head here in the end
The reality of this situation will eventually set in
Until then You'll push forward denying you intuition
How many months must pass before You are forgotten?
You will remain awake
Reduced to nothing with little to rebuild
You've not considered a fate like this
These rooftops cloud your vision of a better life before them

Incredible vocal performance with tight instrumentals that punch you in the face. My watch recognizes me air drumming and yelling to this album as exercise so do yourself a favor and listen! Dan Hutt

Death metal/deathcore hybridization done correct! All the atmospheric passages and samples feel right in place, with great sound. Instrumentation doesn't lack as well, but the vocals could've been a little less upfront. 8.5/10 liltito
